Presented by Jasmin J. Hurley
Jasmin is an attorney at Thompson Hine LLP focused on advising startup and
small businesses to large private companies regarding many facets of entity
formation, governance and financing. Her practice also focuses on intellectual
property and corporate and business matters. She represents clients across
many industries, including food and beverage, health care, media and
technology, retail and nonprofit matters.
Drawing upon her previous experience acquired from both her military and
legal career, Jasmin also advises women-, minority- and veteran-owned
businesses in business certification matters at the local, state and national
levels, and she provides support during the application process.
Prior to entering law school, Jasmin worked in health and safety and business
development for an industrial cleaning company based in Columbus, Ohio.
Her accomplished career also includes having served in the United States
Army. She held various military leadership roles in the army, including platoon
leader in the military police, an executive officer and battalion plans officer.
She is a combat veteran and a recipient of a Bronze Star.
Jasmin serves in a volunteer capacity for several organizations, including the
Ohio State Bar Association, Bunker Labs, and the Ohio Women Veterans
