Our latest CABA Coffee Hour brought us together at 3620 North High Street, a place with neighborhood history and business owners who continue to write its next chapter.

Our three hosts gave us plenty to celebrate:

@jrscottinsuranceagency, an independent agency with a history dating back to 1945, built around personal service and lasting relationships. And yes, a real person still answers the phone!

@clintonvilletherapeuticmassage , a trusted neighborhood space with skilled practitioners and easy scheduling that makes caring for yourself a little more convenient.

And the sweetest of the three, @colonialcandy . Hearing how this longtime neighborhood favorite adapted during COVID, reimagining its business model to reduce overhead and keep serving the community, was an inspiring reminder that sometimes moving forward means doing things differently.

Meeting the owners, hearing their stories, and connecting with the people behind these businesses is exactly what makes Coffee Hour special. And the @BenHeggy chocolates from Colonial Candy? A pretty sweet bonus. 🍫
